Rán started with three friends, an island and some drunken singing late into the night by candlelight.

Our sound lives somewhere between indie, west coast afterparty, folk and the sea. Guitars, harmonies, keys, a little bit of 90s, a little bit dreamy, very us.

Music for driving home in the dark, kitchen dance parties, sitting around fires and all the strange, brilliant bits of being a girl and growing into yourself.

We like making things. We like the imperfect bits. The lyrics that make us feel things. The notes that happen by accident. And we want Rán to be a place where other people can be part of that too.

A little community built around music, creativity, friendship and wild places.
